Legend-witnessing—Exhibition of South-moving Cultural Relics in Summer Palace (2015)
To commemorate the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People’s Anti-Japanese War and the World Anti-Fascist War, Summer Palace Management Office launched the exhibition entitled “Legend-witnessing—Exhibition of South-moving Cultural Relics in Summer Palace” at the Make-up Building of Dehe Garden from December 28, 2015 to February 22, 2016. It is the first time for the collections of south-moving cultural relics and archives in the Summer Palace to be aggregated and presented in this exhibition. In line with the progression of southward move, the exhibition is divided into four parts, namely “Moving to the South under Orders”, “A Tough Journey to Southwest China”, “Back to the North for Relocation” and “Treasures Replaced in Order”. With a total of 73 pieces/sets of cultural relics and archives on display, the exhibition has attracted wide attention and won high commendation.
