Blossoming Beauty like Flowers and Jade—Exhibition of the Ming and Qing Women’s Life (2016)

In July 2016, the Summer Palace co-hosted with Beijing Art Museum the exhibition entitled “Blossoming Beauty like Flowers and Jade—Exhibition of the Ming and Qing Women’s Life” at Dehe Garden. The exhibition is themed by women and includes 95 sets and 112 pieces of historical and cultural relics collected by Beijing Art Museum which mirror the living imprints and sentiments of women living in the Ming and Qing dynasties. The exhibition vividly unfolds a colorful scroll for visitors to interpret the life of ancient Chinese women and their graceful beauty.
