A total of 122 pieces/sets showcase 13 cultural relics and 20 national second-level cultural relics including “Emperor Nurhachi’s Personal Sword” as the masterpiece treasure in Shenyang Palace Museum, “Emperor Huangtaiji’s Personal Broadsword”, “Emperor Huangtaiji’s Royal Apparel” and “Emperor Shunzhi’s Personal Bow and Arrow”. The exhibition consists of four parts, namely “Rise of Manchu”, “Military in the Early Qing Dynasty”, “Court Life” and “Religious Worship”, therefore presenting visitors with a clear picture of politics, military, court life customs and religious beliefs during the special historical period before the Qing army entered Beijing through the Shanhai Pass. It is for the first time and on a large scale that selected cultural relics in the early Qing dynasty are put on display in Beijing.
